I have memories for every gang starr album. Including this one. I remember my neighbor giving me the "take it personal" 12" that he got from the radio station when it dropped. He didn't have a record player back then. Ex to the next girl video and single dropped the summer of 92, but was overshadowed by "troy" and "jump around" which were already still heavy in rotation at the time. Also "the choice is yours" was still heavy in rotation. So much shyt dropped in the summer of 92 that albums like Daily Operation(still considered a classic) didn't fully get the props it deserves. shyt, even Zhigge's album that summer got lost in the shuffle so bad it's not even listed on wikipedia under 1992 releases.
