I played against him and Cutting Mobley a couple of times in a summer league in S.Jersey couple summers ago...he still got it! The Warriors had actually signed him to like a 2 yr contract but cut him and let him keep the ones never really was said why....Dion Waiters is basically the new Version of him

He had Ulcerative colitis which in rare cases is a result of HIV infection but could also be from numerous other factors such as diet, altitude and vitamin deficiency...


No credible source has reported on his HIV status... He could have been blackballed for simply shooting 34% from the field or drinking too much...

HIV sounds better, lets stick with that.

He was always overrated. I hope he's healthy and doing alright. I know he dealt with some injuries, but his game wasn't built for the league.

yea it was built for the league....dude was a bigger, stronger, version of iverson with a better jumpshot. I've never seen anyone make the shots he made with that degree of difficulty. Unfortunately he ended up in cleveland with ricky davis and got hurt during his rookie yr. smh

Iverson was explosive, Wagner not as much.

Iverson was also long too. He was under 6 feet, but he has super longer arms.

I am not saying Wagner was some bum, and I know about the colon issues and injuries hampering his game, but at the time I scoffed at the Iverson shyt.

Iverson was a better college freshman than Wagner too.
