Dalishia Salter, 23, is jailed, and a warrant is out for David Bryant, 34, after police said a flat screen television fell off of a dresser and on top of their infant son during an argument.

“The mother says the baby’s father pushed the television off the dresser, and it landed on the baby,” said Sgt. Wayne McKenith.

Police said the baby was bleeding from the head.

“Our officers discovered injuries to the baby’s face and also other bruising,” said McKenith.

Doctors at UPMC Children’s Hospital told police the child’s mouth was torn on the inside as if an object had been pushed in with great force. They also said it look like the child had been hurt before.

“Officers were notified that these injuries were consistent with some long-term abuse because some of the injuries were in a state of healing,” said McKenith.

How can you harbor that much contempt for someone that you use your OWN child as get back?
I can say with 100 percent certainty that I'd have inflicted substantial injury to that woman if that was my kid.
