I heard dallas was on the come up where people are moving to becuase the quality of life
it is which makes this weird...there's plenty of jobs out here. i've been hearing about low police morale for awhile. they don't pay them shyt compared to the suburbs so there has been a shortage. plus the DA isn't prosecuting low level drug crimes or theft crimes anymore to help stop mass incarceration. police disagree with the plan which is leading to a lot of blow back/confusion.

Yea. This can also lead to you being caught slipping too. It's alotta random ass hoods in the dfw now in places that uses to be all white.

I was in grand Prairie one night a while ago thinking it was suburban, turn down one street nikkas was hustling out in the open like a scene from the wire :dwillhuh:
Again, I remember Grand Praire being this weird ass hood area. Alot of robberies were happening when my sister moved there in 05 and had a house built there. You make a couple of wrong turns on the Great Southwestern RD:mjgrin:

them south dallas pastors put a bunch of homeless on buses and unloaded them at the walmart on 30 and buckner.
crime and bums all over the map in south east dallas. District 7 needs to be cleaned up. But no 1 wants to vote for the right reasons.

Was that really just your reason?

Nah, company wasn't the best fit for me either. I know quite a few people from Dallas, went to college with them. Been there plenty of times and I just don't like the city besides the midtown or uptown (not sure which one but it has a bunch of brunch spots and bars) area.

Got a good job offer from Dallas a couple months ago. After my interview I went and kicked it at a few bars downtown. The dusty ass nikkas I saw hanging around the bus stops and greyhound station were enough for me to reject that offer immediately.

Couldn't pay me enough to live in Dallas

So you came here via Greyhound? :mjlol: idk why you'd be in that area otherwise. Strongly doubt that's where the job was located.

The Greyhound station is basically part of the West End, if not part of it depending on who you ask. West End Station is just a block away and it's ground zero for a lot of the busses, plus the trains, and allllll the fukkery that comes with it... You got drug dealing, drunks, homeless, Black Hebrew Israelites screaming on your ass :damn: Jehovah's Witnesses... And outta towners passing thru like yourself are the heartbeat :pachaha: go another stop on the train and it's a much calmer vibe. I get off at West End more often than not just to soak in all the fukkery, but I've BEEN convinced for a minute that a lot of the people in that area ain't from here or are the dregs tryna eat off em.

Nah I flew in. I had a ton of time to kill before my homie got off work after my interview so I walked around the downtown area checking shyt out.

Oh ok are you from Houston?

Nope, I live in SA. I have a lot of close friends in Houston though so I'm there a lot.
