I hate that "it's still yo momma" mindset or reference to family being able to get a pass for abuse.

I told my mom straight up that she would get canceled if she even thought about acting up. I have checked all my parents at some point. Never anything wild like this, but everyone who knows me knows I'm not allowing anyone to abuse me in any way.

I feel for that young man. I know he wishes he could beat the brakes off that nasty mouth bytch.
:dahell: Sound like you’re the abusive one

At what age did you tell her this? What actions would make her get canceled?

No tv, no coli boys over?

What he said is valid. I grew up terrified of my mom because she talked like this (the verbiage, not her tone or accent). It had an affect in how I learned to deal with all people later, including women...

Bro, same here.

My pops was emotionally distant as hell, but chill as fukk to be around.

I'm way closer with my mom now though as an adult.

Some shyt is truly unforgivable my mom was like this all my life. Ppl wondered why I shed not one single tear when she passed. Nobody gets a pass to treat their children like that under no circumstances. I hope they rescue those children before it's too late. The 14 yr old is more than likely done with her forever.

I feel sorry for the kids that have to go through that. Sometimes, the things you say to a child can scare them way worse than a whooping.

Hearing that woman call her son a "bytch" smh

Why do ya'll just say stuff like this? Like just because an man is in the house it makes things better? You know a lot abuse happens at the hands of men or they know about it and do nothing.

When I think of the people who I know who suffered from abuse there where men around in about 75% of those situations.

When are ya'll just stop repeating the same shyt over and over and over while ignoring what is exactly happening in the world.

Procreation responsibility makes homes better. Just throwing a certain gender in the mix is not an all in one band aid.
1000%. My dad didn't do shyt to dissuade this shyt...
She on all types of drugs or needs serious help. Get those kids away from her man. She'll probably emasculate that boy for wanting to go to school instead of selling dope. Poor kids
She probably ain't on no drugs. This is an unhealed woman who was likely reared in an unhealthy home and she's carried it into adulthood with her own kids...
Bro, same here.

My birth mother was distant, saw her whenever she chose to make an appearance, which was very rare, and last I spoke to her I was 10, until I was 21...

Never knew my birth father until 5 years ago. The guy I was always told was my birth father, was locked up most of my adolescence. I knew about him, but he was always in prison...

So we bounced around alot and most often ended up with my older brother's dad and his wife, I call them my parents. Our relationship is alot better now, because I'm 35, they're 60 and 57. But some scars you never forget...

My (step)mom was super violent. I could list a ton of things, it was bad. The exact language in this video, I heard when she was mad. bytch nikka, fukk your momma, all kinda shyt. I was terrified of her until I was around 15...

My (step)dad was passive and allowed this shyt. He wasn't really violent, but whenever we had a complaint about his wife, it was always pointed on us, we were to blame. "Listen to your mother when she tells you to do shyt"; he was married to me and my brother's mom, and refused to acknowledge her as our mom...

So for all the nikkas saying "need a strong man in the home", look. A bunch of mf's would call my dad a strong black man. And a bunch of people value the spouse over the child and belive in asserting dominance over children. Having a man in the home doesn't matter if his value system allows for this kinda behavior...

I got into my 20s and started learning more about my mom's background, she'd been raped multiple times, by multiple people. Grew up in a broken home herself. Was unable to bear children herself. Fought with alcoholism and suicidal ideation multiple periods of her life....

So you look back and realize that the woman most often in my life growing up, is only 21½ years older than me, and was unready to be a mother when she became one, and was all kinds of damaged goods. As a kid I didn't know this shyt, and her being unhealed and taking it out on us was her fault, period. But you get older and recognize, well that's why she was how she was. She was a broken woman...

Time and maturity has healed a bunch of stuff with me and all 5 of my parents. But, shyt like this, I'll never forget. My heart goes out to the 14 year old boy. The damage may already be done and he won't realize what this shyt is doing to him negatively, for years. But the women he's with, the people he trusts, won't care about the backstory, because it isn't their journey. And maybe they shouldn't care, but he may turn around in 10, 15, 20 years and realize all of his interactions with women trace to the hurt from his mother, and by then you've already hurt the women you loved...

I hope they get all the help they need...
