DeMarco Murray was a fantastic RB in college and it was only a matter of time he became really good in the NFL..
He's not that easily replaceable with who they have on the roster. Now if they're getting Peterson, then perhaps that's a different story. But that O-line isn't the be all end all, if it was, when Randle/Dunbar got in, they would've done more.
ONly way I stay if I'm DeMarco is if they sign someone like Peterson and we split time, so that means less work. But even so, he could go elsewhere and get more money and probably less carries
Randle is a good back, but he's not gonna get you the yds after contact like DeMarco. He does have a bit more shiftiness, but in the NFL he's not been able to showcase that.
Cowboys havent had a really good RB since Emmitt Smith to be honest, and yet they lowball the one they finally have.
Marion Barber, Julius Jones weren't near the player DeMarco is.
Demarco Murray is not an elite back. You cant pay him 10 million a year thats insane
He is always hurt and has no outstanding physical attribute thats jumps out at you. He's just good. The football gods have aligned this perfectly for the Cowboys. All AD has to do is tell Minny he wants out and he's a Cowboy

Im sorry but just because a team has an effective running game doesnt mean the qb should automatically be an mvp candidate. Romo is an mvp candidate because he is taking less risks and got rid of his gunslinger mentality. Brandon FUKKIN Weeden couldnt even get the ball to our wideouts in that game vs Arizona when Murray had all of the defense attention.
lets just hope the Giants dont get him. Cowboys are dumbasses playing with fire. Off the strength of this insulting offer i can imagine them going for Peterson like everyone else...only i see Peterson falling off a bit on some Stephen Jackson shyt.
Then again, Dallas does have a great young OL so who knows.

Dallas o-line deserves A LOT of credit. Murray is good but he's not 1,800 yards good. Not without that line. Other 2 backs were getting off too. Dallas finna be like the post-Davis Broncos.
