I dont have respect for rap anymore so dudes a lame to me.

We have more than enough awful to mediocre rappers as is, don't know why he feels the need to increase that number.

It'd be one thing if he was a niche artist and using the dentist thing as a gimmick or maybe if he was bucking the current trend and was a backpack rapper...

But nope his song mateiral and image is indistinguishable from street nikkas. Same artistically bankrupt bullshyt.

The comparisons to playing in a rock band, or playing fighting games or being a stand up don't hold because 2 out of those 3 hobbies take actual fukking talent and the fighting scene is a hobbyist scene, you practice in your down time, you meet up for matches/conventions. No one's trying to sell a bullshyt image and there's an objective baseline to even be a fighting game hobbyist (YOU Have to be good).

Rap has the "if a tree fell in the woods..." problem. Meaning it's not enough to just be a rapper no the world has to know you're a rapper or you're not a success. Which turns nikkas into clout chasing hoes.

Rap has become a genre and hobby full of bottomfeeders who are out to flex, clout chase and make a buck. Hardly any originality or love left in it.

Honestly I blame Jay Z for this and he's my GOAT.

I get that, but I think brehs are making it into something it’s not. There’s a long process to becoming a dentist, for him to even have that career path he’s very likely experienced enough in what he’s doing as is, so how much of his spare time does he really need to spend focus on bettering his dental work? Don’t get me wrong, I’m annoyed at every breh trying to be a rapper too, but if you have your shyt together I don’t see the issue in doing what you want on the side.

Also bare in mind that he became one of the myriad of rappers that got shot. This could ruin his dentistry practice

In playing fighting games competitively I've met doctors, dentists, top level finance nikkas etc. A nikka can be a dentist and good at Street Fighter so why can't a dentist rap???

People are doing other shyt when they're not at work. Do you not have hobbies? You think your doctor is poring over notes for 6 hrs after he gets home?

What if he paints on the side? Y'all nikkas love to get extra wound up and pretentious about this rap shyt

It's an attractive medium for many as long as that's true nikkas will want to be rappers
