Dallas vs Philadelphia: Better Food city

Dallas for everyone not cheesesteak, Chinese and pizza

Philly has the staples of cheesesteaks and roast pork. But the Italian food (and pizza), south Asian food (Cambodian, Melanesian, Thai food), sandwiches (hoagies) and the Caribbean food is excellent.. the fusion restaurants that promote creativity is pronounced too.. been to Dallas a few times (a good time), but they have Mexican and bbq that are definitely better then philly. The soul food is a wash, probably have west African spots better then philly..

It’s true that philly really is nycs little brother. other then cheesesteaks, philly is like them except not as good

This is the probably the closest 2 cities. Dallas has great food and more variety but Philly has some of the best Chinese, Italian, Sandwiches and bagels also Thai food is really good in Philly.

Philly has great cheesesteaks ofc, but the Italian food and hoagies are really high tier too. Still, I think Dallas edges out with a little more variety AND the BBQ is too good. Then you throw in local Tex-Mex spots
