I do think there is a way to handle sh*t with the people who fought for you. I don’t think any of them is "acting" like anything. But I can understand why Dame feels the way he does. I still don’t know why Jay has done things the way he has.

Unless all the reports were wrong, they all got paid equally for the companies they sold, so what’s really the issue? Even after that, they appeared to still be on speaking terms, as Jay-Z offered Roc-A-Fella for his and Biggs percentages of Reasonable Doubt. Years later there would be random pictures at concerts of the two looking cordial until the online attacks started.

Dude has reconciled with other cats he had been at odds with like Nas, Irv, Fat Joe, Jaz etc, and I think the same would’ve happened between them if not for that. I’m definitely not saying Dame shouldn’t feel how he feels, but I think the attitude that he could do no wrong, and that his friend/partner should just turn a blind eye forever to anything fukked up no matter what, was a big reason for the divide.

I do t know how real these accusations are but it’s all happening because they don’t like Jay. Maybe because of the whole NFL stuff or maybe with him hanging out with that Michael Rubin dude. Until real info is revealed this is all just rumors.

I actually remember this day. These dudes were best friends. Like really close! They did everything together. So I definitely get why Dame feels betrayed and has the feelings he has toward the situation. He would've killed for Jay. His whole thing back then was making sure that the industry respected Jay and didn't try to undervalue him or dismiss him, which they were doing for years. The cacs in power wanted to divide them and run off with the golden goose. Which was Jay.

The narrative that all the idiots on here run with, was the one cooked up by the same cacs who wanted to sell that same idea to Jay, to get him away from Dame. Dame was the only thing in their way, so they couldn't capitalize on Jay with Dame there because he was like Jay's guardian. Once they were able to sell the idea that Dame was the issue to Jay, they did whatever they could to spread that same story publicly. So now the fools on here buy right into that, and speak like they've met these people before. It's corny. But what's wild is, Jay is the only person from the OG staff and crew that doesn't still chill with Dame. Biggs needed a job, so he switched sides and went with Jay later. But all of the OG uptown people that started with Dame and Roc, are still with Dame today. But he's definitely hurt that Jay did what he did, and he feels like Jay stabbed him in the back and ran off with the enemy.

Hip Hop still chills with Dame. Clark is still cool with Dame. I was just with Ski and Dame a couple weeks ago. They're still together all the time. Freeway is always with Dame still. The entire Best Out crew, which was mostly Roc employees early on, are still with Dame.

Juan, Gee, Jaz, Ty, B and all those dudes were Jay's people. Not Dame's. I said Dame's OG people are still with him. Not Jay's. All of the crew from uptown are still with him. That's just a fact.
