It's funny that the Best of both worlds is now the reason for the breakup (along with Jay shytting on Biggs, who he works with). But yet he let his son Cam do the remix for a Kells joint and featured in Twista x Kells videos in Kells hometown. And with his big mouth and love for exposing people he still held on to it for 18 years until it became a trending topic to talk about it

.
It's hard to believe anything Dame says cause his stories and rationale always have mad holes
First it's mutual breakup, then it's bad communication, then it's Lyor and them, then it's Aaliyah and then it's Biggs being lazy. This guy..
Or maybe it's all of that and he didn't feel the need to sit around bytching about it all day.
He's speaking about it as he's asked or the topics become relevant.
You gotta remember, the whole Breakfast Club rant started because he didn't even want to talk about Jay at all.
Looking at shyt logically, and I have no idea how much of this is true, this is how I think shyt went down..
Jay never really fukked with Dame outside of business.
He had his crew, Dame had his, but they was able to come together and get money like hustlers do.
After the money and fame came, women get involved.
Jay liked Aaliyah, tried to weasle his way into fukking with her, but she ended up fukkin with Dame instead, and that rubbed Jay the wrong way.
At the same time, they was already spending less time together because Dame was doing Roc-A-Wear and movies, while Jay was still focused on his solo career, and Biggs is left to handle the day to day of Roc-A-Fella Records.
Lyor, noticing that they aren't together as much as they used to be, started getting in Jay's ear about where he could take his career to.
Meanwhile, Dame, noticing Jay is becoming more distant, decides to bring in other acts to the label to make sure shyt stayed afloat.
He brings in Dipset, some Harlem nikkas that came up under Dame, and Jay being a nikka that wants the spotlight to himself, is threatened by the presence of Cam and his relationship with Dame, that goes back way further than Jay's relationship with Dame.
Jay decides now is the perfect time to take Lyor up on his offer and leaves the label.
The end.
