I disagree. Joe has proven that he isn't really great at business and has Ian to help him out quite a bit.
The difference is that Joe is selling himself as the product/asset and Dame has to rely on others to produce the product/asset.

Dame actually has talked about that in the past, where he doesn't want to have to sell himself to you to sell you his product...he wants his product to be so fire that you have to have it, whether you like him or are interested in him or not, you want what he's selling. Budden aint no business man at all, people (for whatever reason) just like listening to him gossip and talk about rap and shh!t, lol. He's just "talent", for lack of a better word.

Not bashing Budden, just differentiating being a “business man” and being “talent”. Jay-z, for example, is both…his talent is rap and being an entertainer but the lion’s share of his money came from things that, though may have been presented to him because of the stardom and influence that his talent brought, were completely outside of rapping words and rockin the crowd.
