I still haven't seen anyone say wanting to be your own boss is a bad thing, I think you missing the point of the criticism. We just making fun of Dame for being an a$$hole and pretending like he don't have regular people problems like the rest of us.

I can respect anyone that hustled to that level at anytime. But don't be clowning peoples children, peoples clothes, peoples lifestyles when by all accounts you're currently fronting about yours.

Millions of people will see the breakfast club interview, He was asked multiple times how to get the capital to "flip" but side stepped the question. And then explained he became a boss by being handed drugs on consignment.

Do you think "don't save money" is a valuable idea for the black community? Do you think the idea that men shouldn't have jobs is valuable to the black community?

Every man has to be a boss or he's a sucker? So the man who makes 120k x year working for the MTA and feeds his family, takes care of his mother and invests in a home down south to retire to is a sucker ?

But the nikka who sold drugs, never had a job and got locked up and didn't snitch is a "boss" but his family starves? My nikka please. That whole interview was not advise for us to come up, it was an egotistical, contradictory rant.

That the black community shouldnt save.
That a broke drug dealer is a boss vs working a job.
That envy was a sucker for working at a radio station. He thinks envy is a sucker for STILLLL working at a radio station and having a recognizable personality he could monetize. "working in radio for 20 years"

Saving is for suckers vs investing in oneself was the context. His message was not. Don't save. His message was saving is corny reinvesting in yourself is fly.

To answer your question either message is cool because they both promote financial literacy.
