you get off the boat (in that area) and you’re likely closer to your final destination. Take a plane and you still gotta get clearance from air traffic, taxi, deplane, travel from the airport and then get to where you wanted to go.

Pilot had coke in his system. Wasn't fully qualified. Didn't know weight and balance. Plane's CG was probably way ridiculous based on cargo placement and moment.

They knew the routine over there with the island hopping planes. I just hate the fact that everybody knew what was up and just being young. humble, and not experienced didn't pull her diva card.

That's not true, they already came out and said that's not what happened, and Aaliyah had to be drugged to get on the plane, she was asleep when it crashed

It’s not a rumor. NTSB came down and proved it. The maximum gross weight was “substantially exceeded” per their findings. Not a difficult calculation. Just add up or estimate the weight of their bodies and luggage.

I wouldn’t call the NTSB report a rumor.

they had the passenger list and literally all of the equipment was at the crash site. Plane had no mechanical failure. It’s as simple as a heavy plane + load shift. They made some bad choices that day.
