Dame is hands down one of the greatest men in our Black culture. No one tries to empower US and change our mindsets from workers to owners like Dame. Jay telling us to be satisfied with the NFL and Dame is telling us that we can own our own league, and it’s funny? Boy helped Jay reach icon status, put Kanye on, put Kevin Hart on, and Put Lee Daniels on () when NO ONE else believed in them. Dame a wild dude but y’all better appreciate this man while he’s here
dame has had a lot of missteps but he has actually tried to go out and do something for and with black people; those names say it all. Missteps and miscalculations are inevitable but that’s part of the process. Brehs are really showing their ignorance in here. Everyone who breaks glass ceilings has to deal with the shards.
to give a quick anecdote, I’m doing okay for myself in a good career but I’ve met older brehs who put me onto game and taught me where things didn’t work out for them so I could use that to elevate myself. These mistakes and missteps are an inevitable part of trying to break new ground.
