The idea that you're worthless if you do not own everything you're a part of is ridiculous. There is a difference between aspiring to be great and being an a$$hole who is condescending to the guy who became an exec at a company and was able to support his family. There's a difference between saying recognize your options and do not settle and saying that you are useless if you are not the boss. His arrogance and narrow-mindedness is his undoing. This is a character flaw, not a strength.
