Envy is a bum. Dude has nothing, has to report to work. If he is making 300K a year plus is a successful DJ why not work for a couple of years then have your own show ala Howard Stern, interview the people you want, talk the shyt you want? Why would he choose to still answer to anyone?

He's afraid to take that leap. If he worked on TBC for 50 years, he'd never make enough to own the station or whatever, still have to be an employee.

Too much money? This is a sad mentality that has stopped many people in their tracks. If he is as good as he thinks, and the show is that good then anywhere he goes people are sure to follow. TBC wouldnt be the same if all three of them left tomorrow and some other 3 did the show. They dont have some magic timeslot or special station.

That not wanting to be an owner bullshyt is a foolish mentality, if he loved what he does and i believe he does. he could secure his position, right now if he were to say something 'wrong' in the eyes of the public and they went to twitter and facebook he would be suspended, possibly fired. As a boss, he could protect himself. It's another thing to find a way to monetize it and get more money than he already is. Recognizing why you can't just "be the boss" is as important as just throwing your finances away.

Sure envy is at the mercy of his employers. But guess what? As the product he also has much sway in how that would be handled. Even if he was the boss of Clear Channel he would be at the mercy of his advertisers. This "Im a boss and dont have to answer to anyone" nonsense is exactly why Dame was assed out in the first place. Being an employee doesn't mean you are a slave. Everyone should strive to own something but don't be a blind fool and dismiss business sense.

envy knows he can be more and do more, but he hides behind the fact that he has a son and says its in his sons best interest. Like dame said, he could own a station and pass that on to his son, teach his son responsibility, accountability and management. Teach him integrity, sure if he owned his station he wouldnt have to go in every day but a man with integrity does what he has to do regardless.

Well this is where perspective comes from. He isnt a broke dude down on his last dollars trying to hit it big. He's already big, plus he loves what he does, he brings a passion that is irreplaceable. Thats why I said in a later post, if they all left tomorrow and 3 other people were hosting TBC it wouldnt be the same. If he is true and genuine to himself and his passion, he'll be successful anywhere. Right now, he and others feel like if he left, his career, his job, his life is over minus the dj shyt on the side. The only limits are the ones we set for ourselves.

Doctors can go private practice at any point in time. One of my classmates uncles was a brain specialist, he literally chilled at home all the time, but when his phone rang (which wasnt often, dude was like 1 of a few people that could operate on some serious type of brain injury that most people die from) dude would fly from Arizona to Maryland or some shyt to do a procedure, then go back to chillin.
