Dame Dash is funny. The biggest boss from Harlem -- Bumpy Knuckles -- took orders from the fukking Mob.
And he snitched, so Dame wouldn't fukk with him. :obamalaff:which birthed frank lucas...
Call him ungrateful, that don't mean you can call him wrong in his way of thinking NOW...You would have a better point if he wasn't a kid at age 12,Dame never said "Real boys don't have bosses
"....If my pops was a deadbeat and my mama was a drug addict,do I HAVE to be understanding and empathetic towards deadbeats and drug addicts?
And that's very fair,in most cases people do have kids young and have to do the right thing and get a job. If you had kids so now your too broke to put money away to save that's sad. But why do folks refuse to acknowledge that shyt? You was young and dumb and had kids and now you forced to do what you gotta do and cant save easily...Folks calling Dame insecure but they sound insecure, step up and admit you had a minor setback....when you not willing to do that you also showing the same arrogance and double talk Dame showing.
But be honest, how many people do you think actually have a plan to EVER be a boss....working and taking care of you family is honorable but lets be truthful and admit we get too comfortable when whe shouldnt.....and often times our bosses underpay us like Dame said to keep us relying on them and stuck because they can....Also alot of us aint good with money when it comes to saving, and when we do we scared to put that money in our own shyt....it might be honorable to work to support your family, but that don't mean it aint a fukked up position to be in,and that you didn't possibly put yourself in that position.
Nah my nikka u missed the point. Dame is promoting, above all else, a MENTALITY. So let's presuppose we all held the mentality which Dame believes we should. My contention is that were that to be the case then Dame himself would not even exist.
His mindset is childish and hypocritical. I still love seeing my nikkas get money so, despite his irrefutable fukkery, I will albeit contradictory support this nikka, but, I still wholeheartedly disagree with his mindset and believe it is a recipe for disaster on a grand scale.
Naw I dont think like Dame. Dame wants to be a boss because he has an inferiority complex and he has to shyt on people to feel better about myself. I work for myself cause I have free time and like having extra money. It's not something I want to be congratulated on. When u are a man and u see an opportunity u seize it. That should be basic. At the same time when my boss tells me to do something, I do it. I use jobs as an opportunity to learn. In order to be a general u have to be a soldier![]()
He would still exist, because everyone would be his partners, not his employees.
How is Lil Wayne still Baby's employee? While Drake and Kanye have no bosses in their OVO and G.O.O.D. companies. That means Baby never made Lil Wayne a partner.
LOL video should be up shortly. But this nikka stays upset
Charlamagne trolling wearing a Roc Nation hat and Jay-Z T-Shirt lol

IDK breh. People are talking more about Dame being an a$$hole shytting on the working man than building.Sorry to tell you breh but im seeing some Dame similarities...At least in the sense that because that bolded is a mindframe is instilled in you,you feel its "basic" knowledge that everybody has or comes easy....in the same way Dames mentality is instilled in him and he cant understand why people wanting to not work for anybody isn't "basic" knowledge.
The fact is what you and Dame are both saying obviously doesn't come that naturally to people,if it did we would have more successful black business owners than we do....fact is a lot of us are too scared to "sieze the opportunity when it comes",might not be prepared when the opportunity comes....And as Dame said before will often feel more comfortable working for a white man than WITH other black men....Since we in THe Booth look at hiphop alone and you see how the knowledge both you and Dame are giving aint all that basic in black folks...What Dame is saying is more good than bad for black folks mindset imo, every single thing...Mindsets have to be changed before moving forward, gotta give props to Dame for starting the convo...At the worst it will offend some people,at best it will motivate some people and get them thinking differently....the people it will motivate far outweighs peoples feelings who will get over it by tomorrow
"I might not change the world, but maybe I'll spark the brain that will change the world"
