Having a boss doesn't = not having freedom. There are plenty of industries where employees hold substantial power and can walk away and make enough money elsewhere. That's all fine and well but dude is sitting there shytting on the working class when the sole reason anyone knows who he is, is because he rode the coat tails of a guy that used to sell crack....and he was perfectly content getting checks from The Man, until he was cut out of the process. the reason people own businesses is not only to make money for themselves today, its also to not have a boss where they have to curtail their imagination, etc., lastly to have something to pass on to family.

can you pass on company stock? Sure. can you pass on money? sure. do you think envy is worth millions(not a life insurance policy, money in the bank, property/etc.) if the answer is NO. then he doesnt have enough to pass on to his Kid(s) in order to guarantee they dont have to HAVE A BOSS. thats true freedom. but it comes at a cost(less secure money, cause you can be up one day and down the next. but some people take pride in being their own boss.)

I thought interview was great...people with bosses is gon be mad as shyt though hearing this interview,and Dame should realize he might be pissing off the people he's trying to sell shyt to by being horrible at selling himself and his product....Ive had a boss for most of my life and my little side hussles,but ive never took money ive had to invest in not being an employee....I don't have a issue with Dames mentality because as much as people talk shyt about him,so far he's never had a job....so his ideology of "putting the money back in the streets" is working for him,it will work until his ideas stop working...He admitted his ideology comes from self belief a lot of us just don't have...but he can defend his stance passionately,can people who are employees passionately defend why they are employees?

Only thing that aint cool is the fact he didn't really let them defend they ideology on why they would rather have a boss than be a boss....But honestly can most of us who have bosses really defend how great being an employee is vs being a boss?....You might love what you do,but you either don't have the skills,know how,work ethic,self belief to do the things you really want to do....I like the fact Dame will get some people thinking about a different mindset to have actually....Some will just be salty and offended,some will let it marinate and use it as motivation,and some of us know ourselves and know we aint built to be full time bosses

Specifically as black men we should be investing in our own companies and hiring our own people. If i ain't got what it takes to run the company, i'd like to invest in the company.
