envy is str8....

hes doing extremely well

its typical dame....when some1 asks a difficult question he will turn it onto you and try make you feel small

I found it extremely funny cause I'm sure envy makes way more money than dame dash

Son works 4 hours a day & makes 7 figures a year just off radio.

Plus all the money he makes from dj gigs & appearances.

He despises the working class.
Blames working class people for their own lack of success.
Believes all people have access to capital to start their own businesses.

On one hand......that's kinda horrible to have that attitude

BUT

and this is a big but pause harlem

Dame got a point, altho he prolly ain't tryin to make it.

Capitalism been around 100-200 years, world been around eons. Capitalism ain't shyt. We think we the shyt, but in reality, we ain't shyt. We say capitalism got us to the moon and whatever...doggie.....in couple of hundred years "capitalism" will be more obscure than fukkin medieval clergy or whatever

It's just a blip on a radar

and for that reason.............it should been done and ended

people should try to fukk it up in any way

and for that reason I get the gist......nobody should work for The Man....fukk your iphone, we at the point our technology is already good enough, fukk your iphone 7 with even more NSA capabilities and a fukkin heart rate monitor fukk outta here

we should have common sense....them dudes at Foxconn with nets under their factory windows to keep them from fukkin suicide.....that's pathetic, and it's our collective fault

if everyone strives to be his own boss.....and comes at peace with living "happy" which means "money aint everything"...world will be a better place

so fukk capitalism and fukk being employee

As much of a raging jackass Dame Dash can be, I did enjoy him roasting Envy and calling them out for peddling "gossip"... I also like him promoting ownership and being brave, even tho the constant "real man, boss" talk is tiresome

Dude still the prototype a$$hole :pachaha: imagine having to work with Dame? If you disagree with his opinion or sum shyt?

And nikkas still question why someone would drop this a$$hole as a friend/business associate.

Dame has no concept of ownership or how everyday people have to start a business.

He said not to save (lol) and to use your own money to start a business because you won't have to answer to anyone else.

Also don't know how stocks work and tried to shyt on Envy for having bosses when he has equity in the place he works.

And yall saying this dude is dropping gems? :what:

Having a boss doesn't = not having freedom. There are plenty of industries where employees hold substantial power and can walk away and make enough money elsewhere. The radio industry just happens to be one of them. He making it sound like having a job where you answer to others is some herb shyt. fukk that nikka. Envy shoulda bolo slapped that clown for the disrespect.

That's all fine and well but dude is sitting there shytting on the working class when the sole reason anyone knows who he is, is because he rode the coat tails of a guy that used to sell crack....and he was perfectly content getting checks from The Man, until he was cut out of the process. It's not as if he had some kind of :ohhh:moment and realized the error of his ways....he was forcibly removed from the process.

The boss shyt is funny because I never heard of somebody bouncing with half of Microsoft and Bill Gates having to ride a bike to work. I'm not even a big Jay fan but Jay was the industry, Jay was the business, and Dame was just some guy. Which is why Jay is where he is, and Dame is angrily giving The Breakfast Club interviews.

I mean shyt man....young people know who Jay is, even if they don't fukk with his music. There's an entire generation that has no idea who Dame is, because he's been fell off longer than he was ever on.

Even if he meant to say the shyt you're saying....a "fukk capitalism" message from the former CEO of Rocafella Records comes across as sour grapes.

oh no doubt most definitely (in rick ross voice)

I'm sayin, he might have a point if he tried to make one - but we all know where Dame comin from, he broke and he strugglin, it aint nothing to be ashamed of, but he's insecure given that he once was on top...and now sellin motor oil

kinda did it to himself

and I think all the shyt he says...he just tryin to throw some weird jabs at jay with that "i don't care how much money you get to work with, if you aint puttin up your own money you aint boss"

if he just tried to grind and be somewhat humble, nobody would care......but actin like this will put him on the spot...he in for a rough ride in the "social media era" :francis:

you're a product of the machine my friend. so am I. but you missed what dame said. and you dont understand the difference.

THe reason people WORK 9 to 5's isnt because they want to. its because of the security(benefits, guarantee pay check in 2 weeks, their check is also more stable over all).

the reason people own businesses is not only to make money for themselves today, its also to not have a boss where they have to curtail their imagination, etc., lastly to have something to pass on to family.

can you pass on company stock? Sure. can you pass on money? sure. do you think envy is worth millions(not a life insurance policy, money in the bank, property/etc.) if the answer is NO. then he doesnt have enough to pass on to his Kid(s) in order to guarantee they dont have to HAVE A BOSS. thats true freedom. but it comes at a cost(less secure money, cause you can be up one day and down the next. but some people take pride in being their own boss.)

let me explain. do you realize in most companies if your parent or wife, husband, brother, sister dies on tuesday you basically have like 5 days or less in order to mourn their loss and you better get ya a... back to work or you may be written up. THAT is not freedom. no matter how you spin it.

we worker bees need to own up to it. and maybe we can switch it up. not everyone is going to be a boss so to speak. but for those that can be. ENVY can be, he's been in the game too long. knows to many people with $$$, he has a following. he's not starting from scratch. so technically envy's only excuse is the security of it. just admit it. thats why that was the only time he got quiet is when dame said its the security.

Envy saying he does the radio thing because he loves it and not for the money but he can't even play the music that he wants to play because he's not the program director.

I thought interview was great:banderas:...people with bosses is gon be mad as shyt though hearing this interview, and Dame should realize he might be pissing off the people he's trying to sell shyt to by being horrible at selling himself and his product:mjlol:....Ive had a boss for most of my life and my little side hussles, but ive never took money ive had to invest in not being an employee:mjcry:....I don't have a issue with Dames mentality because as much as people talk shyt about him,so far he's never had a job....so his ideology of "putting the money back in the streets" is working for him,it will work until his ideas stop working:manny:...He admitted his ideology comes from self belief a lot of us just don't have...but he can defend his stance passionately, can people who are employees passionately defend why they are employees:patrice:?

Only thing that aint cool is the fact he didn't really let them defend they ideology on why they would rather have a boss than be a boss....But honestly can most of us who have bosses really defend how great being an employee is vs being a boss:patrice:?....You might love what you do,but you either don't have the skills, know how, work ethic, self belief to do the things you really want to do....I like the fact Dame will get some people thinking about a different mindset to have actually....Some will just be salty and offended, some will let it marinate and use it as motivation, and some of us know ourselves and know we aint built to be full time bosses:whoa:

Great and honest response :salute:

Working for yourself is hard and everybody ain't cut out to be bosses. On that same note there are some face saving middlegrounds you can take. Specifically as black men we should be investing in our own companies and hiring our own people. If i ain't got what it takes to run the company, i'd like to invest in the company. If i can't invest i'd like to at least work for a black owned business :why:

To all you nikkas sayin dame is trippin and you should NEVER invest your own money... slap yaself :camby:

All these immigrants are doin JUST THAT. Starting small businesses, hiring their own family, and building their wealth. Using YOUR money to do it too :snoop:
As black folks we HAVE to start our own businesses with our own money. Ain't nobody really tryna hire your black ass and ain't no loans being given to your black ass either. You gotta invest in yourself or you're done
