Yes, he said Jay offered him 1.5 million for the shares. The shares are worth 800k now. Might have been closer to 750 when the offer was made.

So twice the value of the shares at the time. Dame said it was a low ball offer. In business if anyone offers you twice an item's value it's seen as fair.

If we are going to give Dame the benefit of the doubt on these matters let's step back for a second, take Jay-z out of this, and focus on Biggs. Based on reports he has always seemed to be a stand up guy. Smart guy. Went to jail, did his time. Think he became a Christian on the inside.

So with that, do we really want to say that Dame paid his mortgage (still looking for that link) and Biggs turned his back on Dame when he started to work with Jay-z?

That simply doesn't sound like it's in Biggs' nature to do that, and to be honest, what does Jay-z stand to lose if Biggs and Dame continued to be friends?

The shares aren't worth $800K now. The debt that Dame hasn't paid on because he doesn't have the cash to, is $823K. That's the amount he owes dude that sued him way back.

So he's being told to sell his shares so that he can cover the amount. The shares are worth way more than just 800.

My first real job ever, was at Roc. While I was still in high school. So most of what I'm saying is what I've seen myself. Biggs did Dame dirty. But honestly, at least 20 people that used to work at the office who hated Jay and would talk sh8t about him (some publicly), ran to him later for a job when they hit hard times. And because he hired them, switched up their tone and stopped f*cking with Dame in the process, as if he did something wrong to them.

It's like Freeway said recently, Dame is the only one who's always made sure to keep everyone paid or helped to cover their expenses. He said he didn't understand how people could snake someone that's done nothing but try to help people. But again, these people don’t follow any kind of code.
