that's my biggest problem with :dame:'s take on the situation.

First it was he was never in the video

someone finds footage

next it's he was never in the same shots as Kells

now it's Aaliyah said to act normal and do the video

if she supposedly disclosed what Kells did to her to him, I find it harder to believe that she'd want him to go to the video at all, especially after dame claims he was doing some silent protest shyt...it's like why fukking entertain the idea if you're so against what he did to your girl

The album was handled by Kells team and exec produced and produced by Poke and Kells. No Roc- a-fella exec nor producer was involved :dahell:.

Are you telling me they all jumped ship due to Kells :mjlol:

It’s funny how dudes can’t see Dames opportunistic way of naming the reason for the Roc breakup. When fake news about Jays partner being a snitch, that’s the reason. When he’s writing books about cacs, that’s the reason. When there’s an R Kelly documentar, that’s the reason :mjlol:

And as people expose holes in his stories, he adjusts them.
You're right that no Roc exectuive's name is on the project and I don't know the reason for that. However, Dame is truthful that his name is not on it and that Bleek actually was part of the project.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
Dame was being real, Bleek didn't have any facts and when you look at the project you don't see Dame attached to that record as an executive producer or anything. He did do the Fiesta video but he wasn't in any scenes with R Kelly as he said before and was only in scenes in the beginning.

Dame may bullshyt or speak with such conviction that you would believe him when he saying non-sense but on this R Kelly thing I would have to give him a pass.

Towards the end, Dame also mentions that Bleek participated in that album which is true.
Nuance is the ultimate cop out when it comes to people like Dame. Dame would have you believe that he has this separate set of “righteous” ideals, that he is the last “stand up” guy, but if you are that against something, you walk away, point, blank, period. He allows it to happen, puts his hands up, and says “that’s them”......sorry, breh, you don’t get to stand on the soap box unless you took a real stand against it, not just turn a blind eye. Dame doesn’t ever want to take any responsibility or accountability for anything, ever, not once.

So far its zero proof Dame lied about this situation

Aaliyah never hated RKelly she had to be pulled away from him

they would be in the same room at industry parties all the time she wasn't tripping about Dame being in a video

Aallyah was good and grown for years never came after Rkelly...think about that

She didn't look at herself as a victim nor did she want anything bad to happen to Rkelly

The real monster in her life was her uncle but thats a story for another time

U must not saw the video where Dame said Aaliyah was scared to talk about R Kelly and was shaking and shyt. Dame implied that it obviously wasn’t a good relationship.

then why did Dame tell us otherwise? He said she told him how much of a monster Kells was. So much so that dame was in silent protest.

You’re contradicting Dame in your interpretation of events. Dame as alluded to Aaliyah making him feel like she was uncomfortable about the R Kelly situation and that’s why he didn’t feel right about working with dude. All the evidence seems to point to that being a lie.

:francis: at Aaliyah literally dancing to the jay-Kells not guilty record.

I hear you on that, he doesn't take responsibility and will just argue and argue. However the fact remains that he was in no scenes with R Kelly in the video and his name is not on the album whatever the reason may be.

That's not true, Nick Canon brought up the Fiesta video in his Dame interview and it's true that he was in no scenes with R Kelly. If you go back and watch that footage you won't see no footage with either of them.

As for him saying Aaliyah said to do the video and that part of it, that part of it is new but Aaliyah herself was going to be apart of the sparkle movie that R Kelly was a part of. Dame claimed from the very beginning that Aaliyah was crying and couldn't speak about the things R Kelly did to her when speaking to Dame and basically told Dame to leave it alone. So she never disclosed anything but I will admit him saying Aaliyah told him to do it is shaky.
