This is a perfect example of why you cannot deal with unstable, desperate people. I'm not defending Drake, who is clearly a culture vulture trying to get back at Jay (for a pretty obvious reason....) BUT if you gonna move like this why the fukk would you contact Dame directly. Knowing he will blow up the play? If your goal is to get this done, have one of your associates contact him and then reveal the real buyer at the last possible moment to avoid Dame breaking the news first.

Because the one thing Dame is good at, and the one thing he does know, is that 95% of the general public (including many on this forum) are willing to buy into a narrative, so he'll always speak in order to set the narrative. Especially when everyone else is silent. That's the best time to speak. Because then only one side of the story is out there - the side he makes up.

He is not in control of the asset. He is not in control of the sale of the asset.

If Drake really did DM him, all Dame would do is tell him when the auction is and who he has to talk to in order to be a part of it.

Drake cannot make an offer to Dame for something Dame doesn't have to sell.

But Dame knows that most people don't know this. Even though every real article about this situation lays it out. People don't read articles. They read headlines and they listen to what people like Dame say.
