I'm dissapointed because NOCombat Jack gives off this persona as some sort of lawyer with a stong link to many of the founders of hiphop. He gives himself the moniker "combat" to make it seem as if he isn't afraid to get aggressive in order to give the fans what they want.

Lets be honest. Outside of the great interviews with great guests the show itself is corny as fukk. All of the actual members of the show (Premium pete, the DJ, and Combat himself) are all generic as fukk with bland personalities. Plus the fact that Combat was one of the sheisty lawyers that the CULTURE VULTURES used to destroy the livelihoods of so many artists back in the day is further proof of Combat's shady character if you ask me.

The reality is Combat Jack was/is a tool by the industry to steal ownership of it from its originators.

That is not what dame said a culture vulture is. The first person he called a culture vulture was Steve stoute and he's black.
That is true, I just don't remember his definition and how was different from how he came up. For Manda it seems like its his white skin cause from his story he seems to have been a lot more hiphop coming up than Dame.

But I still see cats crying along with Dame, can't these people stop crying and tell us what they wanted Combat to do? Preferably people who actually heard the interview and follow the CJShow. Cause it seems like 80% are just dikkriding Dame on campaign without investigating the other parties, without listening to be show, without even knowing about Dames past and on.

Also lets keep it real Dame is only calling white executives culture vultures. Why isnt he calling out Diddy he's probably worse of all. Not like hes scared Puff is gonna black ball him.
He called out steve stoute before he even uttered joeie's name you ole dumbass what about black on black crime ass nicca :why:

Can you niccas at least be well versed in the topic before you make retarded posts please...thankyou

And wtf is wrong with you people??? The only reason joeie is even on the combat jack show is because of dame's statements :mindblown: its not like he was already scheduled and he just so happened to get into a beef with dame just as this interview was taking place...the main focal point of the interview should've been dame's arguments, dont noone give a fucc about dudes life, thats why its being called the worse combat jack show ever ffs...and btw, i don't want to see any of you c/s'ing truce jacks fuccboy antics complaining about the state of hip hop on this board

If any one actually bothered to listen to this interview you would know IE is far from a culture vulture

I don't understand the hate about this anyway, was an insightful interview. Same is started to sound like a little woman scorned.

Some of y'all wild as shyt... now for as long as Combat's done this show, he's always allowed the guest to speak on whatever they wanted, tell their story, their perpectives on things. Sometimes he'd laugh or agree with something, but it's mostly been just letting people speak their peace. Now, because Dash is on a rampage, he's supposed to jump on board with the crusade? Gettattahere... I don't even give a shyt about Joey IE, but to act like Combat's supposed to jump on some shyt just cause Dash has an issue with these people... y'all expect a lot out of nikkas sometimes. When Dash came up there, it was to air his grievances and speak on his issues, not because Combat was fully endorsing those grievances or issues.
People are coming at truce jacks neck because he was COSIGNING dame's argument...the nicca even JOINED IN with airing out steve stoute...so what, now hes supposed to run into the phonebooth and turn into supercorporatenicca because itd suit his situation better :stopitslime: either be about it or fall back and play ya position

You flim flam floppy halfway crook convenient memory ass niccas are amazing :mindblown: :laff:

Combat is a lame with poor interview skills who talks over guests all the time, but he gets good guests and as his interviews are long as fukk you still get a lot of info despite his poor interview skills.

Dame is a hard head who worked inside the industry for years and saw first hand how shady the business is. It's too bad he wasn't saying all this culture vulture shyt when he was in a position of power though cause at this point he is already on the outside

Combat should change his name. The dude seems terrified of actually engaging in battle.
I guess thats part of the reason that Dallas Penn doesn't really rock with him anymore...I think people forget at the end of the day Jack is still an Ivy League negro that just happens to be a fan, but will eventually protect the bottom line of all of his endeavours..

At the end of the Dash episode, Dame was begging him for 20 minutes to air out the industry people he had beef with and Jack was too shook to burn a potential bridge...When Complex got involved with the show a couple of years ago the whole gorilla radio underground aspect of the podcast disappeared..It's still better than 90% of all hip hop based "media" out there, but trust he's been bought and paid for just like the rest of these "industry" n1ggas...

Stop lying and show us where the fukk he cosigned anything about Joei Manda?

Show us, give me the minute instead of fukking making up shyt. He didn't co-sign a single thing, the few things he cosigned on, he asked about.

Dame mentioned Manda for about 5-10 minutes or so and nothing specific was said except the Spitta situation and perhaps something about making money of beef (dame forgot all about the roc, dipset, jay, ye, SP, Nas, lox and on but that's whatever).

The most of it was about culture vultures in general, Steve Stoute, Fashion, Lyor Cohen, being independent, how people gain from beef (not including himself of course), not owning your company, Funk Flex, corny executives, working for an establishment etc..

Why the hell would he ask IE about those things? Those are not his problem, IE was there to represent IE and nobody else. He gave us IE's background, asked him about Dame's questions and gave him the floor. And as it turns out, Manda despite being a cac had a "more hiphop" upbringing than Dame himself.

Combat doesn't fukk with Stoute... he's said things to that effect before Dash came up there last week. When Stoute was running the Tanning of America specials on VH1, Jack made comments about that. But you actin' like by not being cool with Stoute, he was supposed to jump on Dame's back and ride with him 100% and call people out and interrogate people... that's not what he ever does on the show. He asks questions, lets people talk about whatever they wanna talk about, and discuss topics. At no point during Dash's show did Combat say he was ridin' with him on these beefs. The Stoute thing they have in common, but he never said he was on Team No Culture Vulture.
