Combat has mentioned across a couple of different episodes how Stoute is funnystyle and was always doing shady shyt when it came to artists that Combat represented.

Also, Dallas Penn is an idiot.

"Hip-Hop started dying when you first heard it on the radio and it was cool for someone to impersonate someone else legacy. Steal rhymes for money rewards and generally just be fake. I'm tryna restore the essence of Hip-Hop by being a cultural preservationist. Yes I'm also a registered Republican. I'm different. I'm original. Hit me up" - Dallas Penn

That is true, I just don't remember his definition and how was different from how he came up. For Manda it seems like its his white skin cause from his story he seems to have been a lot more hiphop coming up than Dame.

But I still see cats crying along with Dame, can't these people stop crying and tell us what they wanted Combat to do? Preferably people who actually heard the interview and follow the CJShow. Cause it seems like 80% are just dikkriding Dame on campaign without investigating the other parties, without listening to be show, without even knowing about Dames past and on.
Nobody gives a chit about Joey ie except what dame talked about. Combat jack allow him to sit up there saying shyt like he don't know what type of deal currency signed. :upsetfavre:

Then he said he had no idea that currency and dame had a situation. nikka you the president of the company you know damn well y'all did due diligence on currency and his situations, and combat being a fukking entertainment attorney knows damn well they did too.

Just got done, def disappointed in Combat. He followed the same format of his show but he saved all the good questions for the end and he only asked like 4 of them. I don't think it has to do with his sponsors or anything tho. Not sure why, he kinda been fueling the fire lately maybe that's why. He should probably move on from this shyt, and where the fukk is Dallas Penn?
this is why I miss Dallas Penn on the show...he's not afraid to call Combat or anybody out when they're on some fukk shyt..Dallas was looked at as the wildcard but he actually added much needed balance to the show

1. Combat jack show has a lot of people "no one gives a fukk about", except the people who really wanna hear everything about the business, culture and the individual in it.

2. He said he didn't know exactly what type of deal Spitta signed , fair enough, he was responsible for a bunch of artists. But he admitted that they were trying to give everyone 360 deals so most likely Spitta got one as well.

3. He didn't say that he didn't know that Dame and Spitta had a situation, he said that Spitta wasn't signed to another label. And if he wasn't signed to another label, why would anyone care if he has a "situation" with someone else. They are trying to capture dope artists not please other executives.

I think people just wanted Combat to go in on this guy just based on Dame's allegations. Dame calls this guy a culture vulture, but this guy has been throwing hip-hop parties since he was high school aged and has was mentored by Funk Flex. If Dame wants to complain about the lack of black executives or development of black executives in black music, (something CJ brought up)than that is a different subject all together. But I don't buy Dame's argument about culture vultures as it pertains to Joey ie.

Secondly, it's bytch made to get mad at a media personality for having the guy you are "beefing" with on the radio to tell their story.

Some of ya'll are just a bunch of dumb easily led automatons, try thinking for yourself for a change "

This is getting a bit ridiculous with Dame. I'm fine with him "exposing" or "airing out" whoever he wants, but has he really even aired anyone out in a verifiable way?Its easy to say Joey IE is a snake or a culture vulture then tell a vague story about him instigating a fight between 2 people he didn't name, or expect everyone to just believe or understand the terms of a verbal contract. He's kind of just gossiping. Lets see some facts fukk.

Not to mention how isn't dame a "culture vulture"? cause he from harlem and only fukked over rappers from philly?I remember seeing that shyt a few years back about young guns getting 2 grand a night opening for Jay, which really is fair, but should have paved the way for their own headlining tours. At the time I didn't think much of it cause it would have been the responsibility of whoever books YGs to handle money and tours , then flex on the radio a few weeks ago talking about "rocafella did everything in house, he showed me the office they used to book tours" how many times anyone in state property leave the northeast?shyt what SP artists got their records out?I'd bet anything at their peak they at least would have recouped, not been too profitable but it would have "advanced the culture" .Again i still love(pause, I'm from harlem, pause) dame, and think he is an all time great personality, but he isn't too much better than the people he calling out.

The more this plays out the more it just seems like he don't want people to like whoever he says not to like and we shouldn't question it cause he's from harlem and almost signed grafh or whatever.

the internet
just listened to this...
and of course the Coli exaggerated again!!!

This whole interview addressed Dame's allegations. He obviously went on the show to show that he came up in Hip Hop, and that he wasnt some business school jerk who saw a quick come up.

Dame knew "Culture Vulture" would rial up people...but he is just going at people he has problems w/...has nothing to do w/ culture.

I'm writing because ya'll have supported me over the past few years.

1. Joie called me and asked to be on the show. He said he wanted a platform to talk. I personally didn't know Joie at all, didn't know what to expect, and assumed most of my listeners didn't as well, so I thought it would be fair to at least get dude's background story before we addressed the current events. It was all very awkward, but yeah, it was, in my mind, a perfect follow up to Dame. And what better way to send a message that my show is a platform to all execs to appear on as well as artists and such?

2. Dame wanted me to set up a debate. Joie didn't want that. At a certain point I had to decided whether I was going to have Joie on as a guest or not, because of Damon. When I thought about it, i decided to have Joie on, after all, it is MY show, not Dame's, not anyone else's.

3. I set my interview in two parts a) who is Joie and b) whats up with the "culture vulture" shyt, Chief Keef, Trinidad James, Black execs in the game, etc.

4. Joie was nervous, but he was a good dancer. And so was Dame. Both of them tapped danced. Both of them. Ya'll mad at me because Joie did the salsa but Dame did the merengue? Stop it 5.

5. My show is not for me to air Negus out, it's to give them a platform. I did that with both parties. Not all my interviews are home runs. Joie is more of a behind the scenes exec who is every guarded. I tried to get more but he played it tight. And Damon Dash is a very hard act to follow. The fukk else ya'll wanted me to do?

6. My ad dollars are extremely meager and I'm not at all tf censored. Basically, I make $ to pay for studio time. Basically, I don't get paid. The most I ever made, take home, from this show was around $54.00. #FactsOnly. Joie will never do me a favor, so I don't see the sell out angle. To this day I get pressure from wifey AND the kids as to why I stay doing this shyt for no pay. But I love the history I get to hear first hand. I'm a FAN first of most of my guests. Too many Negus too cool to call themselves fans these days. But if that gets ya'll amped to paint me the bad guy over night, ya'll can rock with that to make ya'll sleep good and make ya'll feel better about yourselves.

7. I called Dame the day b4 I dropped the episode. I have never done this with anyone else. But I respect Dame. And I knew he would have a temper tantrum if I didn't at least try. Said let's figure out a "win/win" because I didn't see why he should be upset. He wanted to stay upset and said when I drop the ep he'd expose to the world the type of cat I was. So he was on some emotional vengeful "wait til i pay you back shyt". Cool I'm a grown ass man dawg. I tried. I wished him the best and kept it moving. This shyt right here is the COMBAT JACK SHOW! Not Dames, not corporate America's, not anyone else's.

8. Ya'll Negus talk about how I should change my name but I guess ya'll aint see how I've been battling with Ebro and Hot 97 about how they dissed our culture by dissing Chuck and with they other lil corny jokes and such on social media. So yeah, call me PC Jack for giving EVERYONE on my show a fair show and giving YOU an opportunity to decide what type of cats my guests are. I woke up Friday with a text from Dame calling me a "sellout" at the same time Hot 97's morning show was insinuating I was an anti-semite. i had to laugh at the insanity of being called out on being on both sides of the spectrum. But that's the life of being "PC Jack".

9. Dallas stopped coming to the show. He's a fukking genius and I love that man as a brother. But this is the 4th time in 4 years he decided to stop coming. He's a grown ass man too, so I respect whatever moves he makes, but I gots to keep this ship here moving. Pete stayed riding. But DP and even Just Blaze will be team members of this shyt for life. Ain't no backstory to this.

10. That about it. i love this forum and stay lurking. But some of ya'll really started talking extra loose. That's cool though, thats what these Internets is for.

Respect the fact that you tried to keep the conversation going but do you agree that this ended up as a win for Joey IE and a loss for your show? I say that as a listener. I understand that the debate wasn't possible, but if it wasn't going to be relevant why not wait and have IE on at a later time? The timing makes it seem like you trying to stay "safe" by standing on two sides of the fence...
