This is a situation where everyone was too loyal… or better yet… pretending to be loyal for too long.

Dame should have said he wanted to leave before now. He could be on the Lakers if he wasn’t pretending like he loved the grind.

Portland should have broke up CJ and Dame when Dame’s value was higher. Getting a guy who can contribute on defense and play within the offense would be key.

CJ should speak more about the future since this is going to be his team soon.
