the universe is hostile
so impersonal
devour to survive
so it is
so it shall be

:wow:
makes you wonder if thats the nature of the universe....then what makes you think it'd be nice enough to provide an afterlife.

The Set
When I went to juvi at 16 this weak looking boy came in the same night as myself. He just looked pitiful. I couldn't picture him doing anything that would land him there. You could see the fear in his mannerisms ...

I'm not a tough guy, I guess I just navigate situations fairly well. After a couple of days about 12 dudes just jumped on the kid. Stomping him out for no reason. He screamed he cried and sobbed and eventually made noises no human should make.

It broke my heart, these vicious many much bigger and stronger dudes absolutely smashed this poor boy with glee and laughter. I was mad at God. I looked for ways to justify what I had saw.

Through the mental gymnastics I concluded that some people are food. Some folks were just at the bottom of the food chain and they were meant to be killed and eaten. This pic reminds me of that. I used to love Nat Geo as a kid. Hated to see baby bunnies and shyt slaughtered by coyotes... can't get into those predator prey shows like I used to.

I'm grateful today that I am able to digest it all and have moved past that mindset.

Just be glad that wasn't you or one of your jits in leopreh's jaws and keep it moving. :russell:

OT: @Lord Beerus Where do leopards rank on your big cat list? :jbhmm: I got em 4th after Cheetahs, Tigers, and Jags. :ehh:
4th in what category? It bet not be ferociousness :gucci:

I got tigers first In every category
Cheetah would be 2nd favorite followed by leopards
Cheetahs last in ferociousness, one of the safest animals to encounter in the wild far as the ones who could actually kill you. 2nd only to gorillas.
