Have you ever noticed the one black friend in the white group usually looks messy, and the one white friend in the black group usually looks neat and fresh?

I used to be the one black friend, and they would always mention my clothes, and haircuts, as if it was abnormal to want to look put together. I was in Wegmans the other day, and saw a black kid with some white kids, and he had the same dirty sneakers, and non sharp hairline as his friends. But I could tell none of these kids were poor based on how they spoke, and the area. They just don’t care about their appearance.
