i know my barbershop. if i go on a saturday i know i have to wait or come back later. if i choose a tuesday or wednesday after work, i won't spend more than 40 minutes in there

I cant be waiting around hearing all the bullshyt and conspiracies at my barbershop for 2-3 hours.

I text the homie come through at my time and bounce shortly after. my barber rarely makes me wait and when he does its maybe like for 10 miniutes the most becuase he sneaking in a bite or running behind.

But sittin around for 2 hours waiting for a cut got old AF. My barber only cuts by appointment anyway. Yesterday was in and out in 40 mins

Haven't gone to a barber shop in almost a decade but all my old Dreadlock hair stylists had an appointment system, and it never worked. Always at least half an hour behind, having to reschedule because they overbook, and even forgetting appointments. It's a professionalism problem. Charged them to the game and started styling/retwisting my own hair. Now I barely go over the 2+ hours I was spending at the shop anyway and pocket that money I was spending.
