Since the Hookah was visible and the smell of weed was present they had probable cause. They don't need a search warrant if they have probable cause.

Did you sign a citation or anything saying theres a fine and a court date? If not you could be alright but them taking pictures of it actually in your house means if anything they'll try to get you with constructive possession. If thats the case you can beat that but you might have to throw your friends under the bus and say it was theirs. I could see the cops just dropping this and smoking the shyt.

My FRIENDS were here smoking weed in my apartment as I joined them in conversation ONLY..
there was a lot of weed, my friends made brownies and had lots of paraphenilia in here
we then decided to go bowling and get something to eat, I decided since I DID NOT smoke at the time that it sounded like a good idea.....we ended up no t going though, so we pull back to my apt like 30 minutes later....


and theres a cop, we freak out cuz all of my friends marijuana and shyt is in there....eventually the cop dipped and my roomate told me they smelled weed on him (he wasnt smoking tho) so they went up here, saw a hookah as soon as the door opened and decided it was probable cause to search, then took all of my friends weed and paraphernalia and shyt. They searched our rooms and took pictures......then just left


now the problem here is when i came back, my room (which my friends had been previously in) still had some small amount of weed in there from my friends smoking session, as well as a tobacco pipe of mine which my friends decided to use for smoking......but they took pictures so do yall think they'll come back and tell me shyt or take me down for it I also had my twitter name written small on a little poster, im not sure if they took a picture of it or saw but I did delete my account just in case

Naw, you're good. You can breathe fam. You just got jacked by some crooked officers, and, additionally, you were let down by a weenie roommate that didnt know the law. All those pictures snapped are not admissible in a court of law without a search warrant. They know that, they just wanted it to look official. From here on out, its imperative that you know what factors the 4th Amendment controls for when it comes to search and seizures. They were just looking to snoop and 'cause trouble and they found it. TF your roommate even open the door for? And what were they doing there in the first place?

Another thing, although they took all the weed and paraphernalia in the living room, in my room there wasalso a bag of shrooms (all my friends, none mine ) and although they searched my room (drawers out, shoe boxes out) they didn't take any of that.
