There is a lot of merit to this, but the counterpoint is that the WWE HAS dedicated a LOT of time and energy towards her character. Attaching anyone to her can garner almost instant heat and that can matter. I think they could have gotten the same return had they invested that much time and energy into ANYONE however, which on the flipside makes Bryan so impressive. He got so over in spite of how hard they were trying to discard him.
Bryan could say some wild ass shyt if he wanted and he'll almost always get a pass because of the heights he had to climb.
Seth Rollins alone invalidates your first point. By proxy she has been involved and fukked with Reigns/Ambrose/Owens stature when they were champs as well. Hell to be honest her involvement didn't even work for Bryan. He was over before her and HHH and stayed over despite being saddled with them for his entire main event run from SS thru WM.
They waste all these years on her and she hasn't gotten anybody but herself heat. Having instant heat is worthless when you're not an active wrestler and can't transfer it. Vicki Guerrero for example is one who reliably drew extreme heat (probably GOAT since the attitude era), but could transfer it to others. Stephanie's not even on her level when she has been featured many years longer. There's simply no net positive of having her around when you consider the number of years she has been on the screen, including the time she takes up every damn Raw hovering aroand the title picture and continuously emasculating active talent.
Or to make a long post linger, put it like this: when you can name more people that the Stephanie McMahon on screen character has shyt on and emasculated than she has helped (or tried to help) get over, it's kinda easy to see that she's the problem.
