C is a real nikka. If he speak on something, best believe he KNOWS what the fukk he's talking about. If he said P did him dirty, then P did him dirty.
Yeah P did him dirty but a lot of blame can also be placed on c-murder...
The beef between them started around '98 with magic's contract. C had tru records or should I say C THOUGHT he was the ceo of TRU records but it was nothing but a small imprint figurehead name for nolimit where P was still h.n.i.c. It's sorta like now when wayne yells "young money, cashmoney" NO brotha, it's all cash money records ran by baby & slim, YM is just a name. When C found out who was really the "boss" he confronted P & their relationship was never the same.
C should be held accountable because he was wild & reckless trying to keep up with soulja slim & skull duggery as far as the streets which gave him a strong rep. Pistol whooping & beating up label mates & regular dudes, getting a apt in calliope when he was a millionaire to basically not listening to anyone. I remember P did an interview & said C wouldn't listen to ANYTHING he told him but it was gonna be him(P) talking care of his kids while he was locked up. So let's say C didn't kill that kid in the club that night, it crazy all the stuff he did get away with, karma is undefeated.
Most of the artists that dropped albums in the strong 5 year span of the NL run got nice advancements, cars, houses, but the flip side was their publishing belonged to P with the exception of mystikal, snoop & skull duggery. Between mia x situation, the falling out p had with BBTP to mystikal leaving, mac's situation etc, that's why NL folded.
But P is also a hypocritical con artist. I don't look for rappers to be transparent. But P had stripes in the streets, sold dope, stood up to suge & had habitual killers dropping albums on his label. But then he had his "come to jesus moment" & does a complete 180.
He was in a $1000 suit has a pallbearer with the NAACP for the funeral of the N word, denounce gangster rap, denounce dope dealing, changed backed to his govt name "percy", he denounced the name "master P" & had a stupid short lived show on vh1 called no excuses.
But now present day, we see it was a lie & a gimmick(which he has done his entire career). 2014 is the year of "ice cream man", he's now on mixtape covers with ski masks with gucci mane. He's back to trying to sell the same things to the people that he denounced & ridiculed over the past 8 years because his positve gimmick wasn't resulting into revenue.
But the biggest slap in the face to C was when he was "Positivity P" he used his brother as ginnie pig to anyone who would listen & basically denounced him. Through it all maybe they'll work it out but if C never sees the light of day again I doubt it.
