I don't have THAT much sympathy for these guys in that they often get taken advantage of in some preventable ways, but if you're being fukked, its not hard to see how shyt gets out of control.

What ever outside firm you're comfortable with. You always audit your accountant, always. Not every year, but a min. of every 3 years. If you do that you will be fine on the tax side. It's the financial planners you really have to watch out for.

The difference between Jay and Dame is that Jay doesn't just give someone 250k to do something, he checks on it. I'm going to bet cash money that Dame wasn't meeting with his accountant quarterly, and to be perfectly honest I wouldn't be surprised if the accountant didn't do anything wrong.
