He was a manufactured star end of story. Give props to him for being loyal and having a strong will to improve. But I've followed dude since high school days. He doesn't play winning basketball. Raptors gave him the keys to the franchise cus they had no one and he didn't deserve it in his first 3 seasons.

Hope he's alright, don't think he deserves the constant reminder of Toronto having more success without him, not like he wanted to leave Toronto or was an awful player, he helped make them a perennial top team in the East.

Kawhi is one of the absolute best players in the league, like some have said he's a top 3 caliber player, DeRozan is an AS caliber player but he was never that good. It is what it is

He doesn’t suck, he’s a very good player. He’s just not Kawhi. Sports fans need to stop with this “he’s either a GOAT or he’s trash” mentality. There’s a pretty big middle ground
