I won't get too deep in the weeds but yes, the wrong church and wrong religious environment can do a number on you.The thing is, there is a real problem with the programming that a lot of young women get in the church.
Y’all know good and well there are a lot of women who experience shyt like this in (not this extreme) and what do people say? To look the other way if he cheats, to understand that men have urges, as long as things are paid he’s taking care of his responsibilities, etc. This shyt happens ALLLLL the time!
And women stick around because they are told to never leave or that they will be shamed for breaking up the family, etc.
The truth is men get to do whatever the F they want, especially if they find a chick who has been raised to be a doormat. They know who to run game on.
She had to go through this heartbreak and embarrassment to learn not to put up with emotional abuse and to love herself enough to actually present herself well/properly in the media- not waving some plastic sword around and showing up in a bonnet and sweats.
