Listening to ths Thug pod. I think he may clean up some shyt.
1. He explains telling savage and others he didnt tell his brother to take the plea when he did. He said the jail calls are recorded. If he wouldve told them yes, he did tell him to take the plea then the courts wouldve charged him with some shyt because he not suppose to be talking to the other ppl on the trial or some shyt like that.

2. I dont care how he dresses the shyt up. His brother deserves the snitch/rat jacket just like Gunna. He talking about his brother cried because he didnt want to take the deal. He was ready to do life or w/e. Then brought up how their momma was crying and wanting to see them both free and they need to do w/e they gotta do and they can deal with it when they get home. So he told Unfoonk to take the deal after convincing him to do it for a week. fukk all that. Every person locked up got family and shyt that's hurt that they behind bars. His momma aint the only one crying because they son/daughter locked up. If Thug using his momma crying as an excuse to ok what his brother did, he might do the same to take his own deal.

Some of what he saying about the calls making sense with what Wack said before this interview even took place. When all this shyt happened Ceddy said he been sitting on these leaks or w/e because of Wack. Idk why Wack would tell him to not put them out to protect Thug, but w/e.

Thug said in the interview that when the first leak happened his ppl called Cobb County and they shut down the whole system to get these jail calls. He said they cant get them anymore, so the leaks are from someone who been sitting on them and got them all already.

Listening to the rest now.

Legendary interview and a watershed moment in hip-hop

I came out of that interview with my impression of Thug completely altered. I went in thinking of him as a street level crime fighter and came out thinking of him as a cosmic threat battling superhero :ehh:

Sounds like he’s a grown man that lacks accountability for his own actions. Yikes.

Yea, very good interview. Also Bank did good as hell. That may be because he knows Thug. Around 2:24:00 in that interview where he broke down was some real shyt. Thug really hurt by Gunna not being by his side. The others hurt too, but you can tell Gunna the one that fukks with him the most and why he sorta stuck musically/creativity wise.

Bank did good on trying to play devil's advocate and pushing back on what Thug was saying on some shyt. Like the Ralo shyt, Bank called him out on calling dude a rat. Thug kinda folded/lost his cool a bit too on that subject because Bank was trying to deal in facts, not no feelings on it. Ralo has the dude who Thug said he put in jail saying Ralo didnt put him in jail. Has fed paperwork saying all the shyt he said in the interrogation room was bullshyt and didnt help them. So since there seems to be no paperwork confirming Ralo is a rat, like Bank asked, we have to take Thug word for it that Ralo was gonna testify against him and Lucci.

Funniest part was probably when Bank was like "you want to say anything to the city?". Thug started out good then started mentioning P/Ralo etc being rats. Bank was like "Mane I thought you was goin another direction, not on that type of time :gucci: "
Him basically calling wood retarded was funny too.

With that said, bringing it back to his brother Unfoonk. He said something like everybody who took the plea deal that he considers a rat all said YSL was a gang. Well his brother's paperwork is floating around and this lists a bunch of shyt that would make YSL look like a gang including admitting to "YSL is a gang"

Bank also pointed out how he thinks he wouldve been ok with Gunna if other ppl didnt jump the gun before Thug said anything. Hope Thug can work on healing and back to making good music :manny:

Nah, I think it's just a case of him doing mental gymnastics to not call his brother a rat. Which is interesting because PeeWee called Unfoonk a rat.

I said before Thug just need to become a streamer, show his journey to healing and focus on music and entertainment. I assume he living in LA so do food reviews and shyt with his girl to get that lane sewed up too the way Gunna doing fitness fashion and girls

Doing an interview to clear up street/family business is just another example of the way everything has changed in the last 15 years.

Who is Thug even addressing here? The social media commentary from someone like him is never going to be sober minded, even handed, reflective thinking, it's always going to be memes and jokes, cutesy bullshyt. There's no way to get out of this now. But Thugga, in part got on because of the social media space of 2017/2018, live by it, die by it.

Everyone/Everything. Of course the "internet gonna internet" with the jokes/memes, I think he said that in interview as well. But this is for ppl who also wants to hear his side. There are a bunch of street nikkas(like Big Bank) and others that saw the 2 hour interrogation and said he snitched w/o even watching it.

Doing this interview is also easier than getting on the phone with various street nikkas to explain himself.

I think he mightve did got out of this shyt, I guess only time will tell. Wack said he got hours of more calls, Thug explained why he talking the way he is. Hopefully he lets the music talk from now on :manny:

Right, I just mean the fact that "street guys" and gangsters and rappers are all doing this is still a little surreal to me. This would have been Chapelle show parody 20 years ago. "Rapper takes to podcast hosted by street dude to combat allegations of "snitching"

I'm just getting older man and it's weird to see the change.

I would assume Thug reached out to folks before or as the calls leaked to get ahead of it, and this Bank thing to set the record straight.

Still think Gunna and all them need to meet behind the scenes to just clear the air even if it ends up being a "well it is what it is". The big theme I saw in this was zero communication and thinking nikkas will be mind readers because of an assumed code.
