2) in general people still bought albums

Nowadays, barely anybody is supporting the music, especially hip hop fans. 80k is decent by today's standards.

This is a major W. It's just 4000 copies short of Jesus Piece which was released during holiday season and on Interscope. Considering this album has been released on an independent label without a popping single, this is an amazingly good number. W
