I normally don't get into these pissing contests between sales but it be funny how nikkas come with all kinds of excuses when their favorite artists don't do whats expected.

This nikka had every industry commodity on here from Future, Drake, Kanye, Snoop, Kendrick, Diddy, TDE, Dre, Cube and did 82k?.
It's a Shame though because it was a dope album

I got the physical of Disk 2. Disk 1 is cool, but I felt like the second disk was more worthy of the $.

It's 2015 breh. 10 single sales count as 1 album sale. A certain number of streams count as an album sale too now

SO WHATS THE EXACT NUMBER, BECAUSE I KNOW MANY STREAMS ARE FREE, DUNO HOW THAT WOULD EQUATE TO A SALE

the week isn't/wasn't over at that point

i don't know when the official tissue stats drop... but here's some info... and i don't think it matters if they are free or not, just that it was streamed and SOMEONE got paid off it... either by someone joining or by getting paid off advertisements.... either way they are saying the artist should get paid/credit for that:

BILLBOARD: The updated Billboard 200 will utilize accepted industry benchmarks for digital and streaming data, equating 10 digital track sales from an album to one equivalent album sale, and 1,500 song streams from an album to one equivalent album sale. All of the major on-demand audio subscription services are considered, including Spotify, Beats Music, Google Play and Xbox Music. Current artists likely to benefit from this change in methodology include Ariana Grande, Hozier and Maroon 5, among others, as their streaming and digital song sales have been outperforming their album sales in recent weeks.

RIAA: WASHINGTON/LOS ANGELES – The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) today announced the integration of streams to its historic Gold & Platinum (G&P) Program, the industry’s premier award for recognizing artistic achievement in the marketplace. On-demand audio and/or video song streams will now be counted towards the 500,000 (Gold), 1,000,000 (Platinum) and 2,000,000 plus (multi-Platinum) thresholds required for G&P’s Digital Single Award certification.

It is important to note the new certification approach, including the formula of 100 streams being equivalent to one download, is an approximate barometer of comparative consumer activity; the financial value of streams and downloads were not factored into the equation.

and this is exactly what i meant when i say "music industry jumbles up the numbers to report"

if you sell 1 million full albums... then sell 3 million of the first single.... in the past, you sold a million albums and 3 million singles

well they got smart now... and will just say "I SOLD 4 MILLION RECORDS" which technically they did... but really 3 million of those were 99 cent singles

well everyone else is now catching up to that... and making it either 100 or 1500 streams equal and album... and 10 singles (since you can buy 4 tracks off an album on itunes now) equals a full album

nikkas still gonna do the 4 milly thing.... but this is billboard and riaa way of catching up to current digital wave

I've noticed that rappers on reality shows is like admitting they ain't selling music no more so they get that check.

The only times I've seen reality TV give an artist a fanbase was K. Michelle and Tamar Braxton. Two female R&B artists whose careers weren't on in the first place and literally represent who powers black reality TV. For males I peeped it doesn't help them so much. It's like admitting defeat.
