Return of the Mac is the last P album I enjoy to the fullest

If you take off track 7 and 9 (made Speaks & P Speaks) and replace them with The Dough and Represent Me, you have damn near a perfect album.

for what it was i thought it was a dope album. but i think he did this out of pocket, there isn't any label info on the CD except infamous records.

I can respect that opinion, but HNIC and Murda Muzik was recorded at basically the same time. He has the same style and vocal sound on both of those albums, and to me, they're two sides of a coin.

do you ever stop to realize how little appeal prodigy has? it just hit me the other day out of nowhere. dude is literally the cure for insomnia, only people checking for him at this point are people who just can't let the nostalgia go, they stuck in the 90's. that prodigy from back then is gone, lyrically, respect wise, etc... i'd honestly rather hear my n!g Havoc at this point

Nope. I wouldn't, can't speak for others. Mobb fans wanna hear it, regardless of how small a population we are. I don't care if he's 50 or 60. If Prodigy has the right production I will always give it a fair listen.

Of course he doesn't have much appeal in 2012. Which is EXACTLY why HNIC 3 is EVEN WORSE! Since he has a smaller fanbase, he should realize that the fanbase he does have expects him to rap about fukking people up, fukking chicks, smoking weed, and talking conspiracy theories. Even more reason NOT to switch the style up.

I'd actually argue that 2012 Mobb Deep fans are NOT stuck in the 90's. Because none of us expects to hear another Hell on Earth or Murda Muzik. We've known that wasn't gonna happen. People love Return of the Mac, and that was 06/07. A lot of people liked HNIC 2 and Product of the 80's, which were 08/09. It's not like he can't make a dope album, he can.

But I will say that unless it's another ALC/Prodigy album I would also rather hear Havoc. But Prodigy had energy and good verses over the past few years. Check Black Devil or his verses on Currensy's The Type, or his verse on Fame with Evidence & Roc Marciano.
