I got people out in Norfolkthat place has turned to shyt these last few years. No better than Newport News or Porsmouth now
since I was a kid in the 80's.
Virginia Beach is more diverse each year with the military bringing in people from everywhere.
It really depends what part of the area you're going to.
Tidewater is like that. It doesn't matter where you live, you're 30 minutes away from a bad neighborhood and 30 minutes away from million dollar homes.
As far as it being more expensive, the homes are a little bit more expensive but the real estate tax is lower so its a trade off. Plus a house in VA Beach is typically easier to sell off the strength of the name alone.

That was so sad. On one hand I am disturbed how everything is record in this age/especially live streaming, on another hand, I'm grateful. But I can't watch videos like that anymore. It messes with my nerves.
