The keyword from this video is lights. The interstate needed more light and that first guy was a dumbass for not turning on his hazards lights. That road is way too busy to be that dark at night. Nobody could see until it was too late. That shyt could’ve been worse too. The cars at 0:53 and 2:05 came close too

This could have been avoided if the police weren’t acting p*ssy, and actually blocked off the lane with the disabled vehicle, with their police car. At least the police car has flashers than can be seen from further and people are quicker slow down when they see them.

:dahell:
How long does it take for police to get to the scene on those highways? Looked like early evening when the initial car was there, then it’s damn near pitch black and still no roadside assistance.

Breh walking around chilling on the highway :mindblown:
These. Every situation I've seen like this the patrol car stops directly behind the vehicle with their lights on. WTF is a flashlight?? Looks like a car without lights on under a streetlamp. Actually happened to me once in the middle lane.

The Truth
dudes sleeping im guessing

whatever cop was there did a poor job illuminating the crash scene
This

It’s a freeway, you can hit up to 70+ legally

It’s also at night. Lazy cop just sitting there watching instead of securing the highway. All this was on him

What if you are stuck in the middle

Thats what I was envisioning when they asked. It’s ideal to be on the side but, while in the middle, I was always told to gtfo as soon as it’s safe and reasonable to. If it isn’t safe to get away then hunker down in the car until help arrives to stop traffic.

This is why I am 27 years old and still don't have my Drivers License. I have been nervous to drive on freeways/highways because of other people, and I feel that my nervousness might cause an accident on my behalf too. :francis:

I learned to drive in at 9 years old and got my license in early 2000’s Atlanta. I’m used to drunk, reckless, and excessively speeding drivers 24/7. I legit get frustrated when all these out of towners are doing the speed limit in all lanes smh. I broke the habit living in Tacoma but I got right back used to the speed when I moved back out here.

It takes some years of consistent driving but it can begin to feel natural when you get the rhythm down and learn to drive in consideration of others.

Yeah those midnight runs from daygo to LA are no joke. Idk how I’ve driven back safely sometimes because it’s a tiring drive, plus they barely have any lights on that freeway

:mjlol:

I don’t know why you mentioning that stretch of road made me think of the “meet me in Temecula” incident
