Acco is a good spot you want to work for....have a cousin that has work there for years....and yes its hard work but once you put in your time and learn to read HVAC drawings....the hard work is minimized....

where they cross-over and clap boards
Don't believe the hype :francis:

I know a few people who do HVAC, including a brother of a chick I dated once. He worked for at least 5-6 companies :mjlol: They can fire you for almost anything and it's a competitive field. Summers are brutal and things can get slow in the winter time. It's not all peaches and cream.

I’m making 75/hr (ot) right now :manny:

I’m commercial hvac/r trade tho.

I’ve been told you nikkas.

I turn down side jobs and OT, hell tomorrow I could make over 100/hr if I work. I’m on call for the whole weekend, 24 hours a day and if I get a call my paid time starts from the second I get that call to when I get home.

That’s plus 13/hr in my 401k ( employer contributed) and a healthy pension :manny:

They stopped testing for weed. I get a work truck, a cell phone and a credit card. Don’t pay for any gas or tolls and I make all my runs in my truck. Haven’t put 500 miles on my car(s) this year.

You can lead a nikka to water but can’t make em drink. Literally no one I have tried to put on has applied.

Any IT nikkas here can tell you, look at their bill when they have to call us about their cooling being down in server rooms

You not seeing anywhere CLOSE to 100k if you a non union hvac tech :mjlol:

Keep telling my boy who go to Coyne, he let those cac instructors pump his head up.

Meanwhile Blake is a Union HVAC apprentice about to make $33 an hour as an apprentice and you gotta work at speedway to pay your tuition @Barnett114
Would you mind filling me in on this? I was looking into going to trade school next year and this sounds like useful information to have. :ohhh:

Don’t go to trade school, why pay to learn skills you can get for free + earn a wage/benefits while doing so.

apply to sheet metal or pipefitters unions in your area

So I'm browsing indeed salaries and they say HVAC techs in US average $22 per hour

HVAC Technician Salary in United States

But if you look down, there's reports of some saying they've made as much as $40-$62 an hour. HVAC techs who work at the Four Seasons have reported that they cleared over 100k in salary

Four Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning HVAC Technician Salaries in the United States

That's 79% above the national average... :ohhh:
I was so mad when I found that out. A deacon at a church I went to was into refrigerator/hvac repars and was cleaning up. He told me about how much he made and he took the classes at a community college. I was teaching then and paying back student loans.

Goto college and be successful they say :stopitslime:
