You can't think of India as a country, it has to be looked at as a continent like africa.
You at one place in india and it's one type of culture, you drive an 2 hours to another place it's another culture

Alot of it is that, It's like seeing an alien you have only seen on TV or in pictures.

But to keep it a buck, ike most former British colonies, there is a certain mystification with whites and Americans(black or white) especially in poor or rural areas.

Thankfully, exposure via internet is helping demystify whites and the west in developing countries. I noticed the more I go to Kenya, the less they are impressed that I'm from America.

some of what she saying is true, however it all depends, are we talking about the lower class, the middle class or the upper class, and once we know that what part of india are we talkign about?
Is it the south, east, west, north middle?
too many variables for that video to be applicable to a population of over a billion, life don't work like that.

That is one girl's perspective depending on where she lives and was raised and her economic status.
