It would be nothing for instagram to implement something similar or superior to that with their budget and their team. They already have filters. They just need to make more, lol.

Video: :heh:

They should have waited until they had the filters with faces and stuff on there then b/c right now, instagram stories are useless.

Facebook owns Instagram. Google owns Youtube. Pinterest:scust:

I had no idea that facebook owned instagram. What else does twitter own? Twitter is way more popular than facebook and will always be no matter what they own. I think twitter an instagram are equally popular though. Facebook's owners probably get most of their money from instagram.

Does facebook own instagram? What about youtube? Pinterest?

Facebook has owned Instagram for a couple years now.

YouTube is owned by Google so buying them would be impossible lmao.

Not many people use Pinterest like that.

Twitter owns Periscope. Twitter isn't more popular than Facebook. Not even remotely close, and Instagram makes much more money than Twitter. Twitter is lowest on the totem pole of all the major social media companies. Facebook makes money in places you wouldn't even imagine. They created a lot of their own tech like React.js, they own the VR gaming company Oculus, they have ads, their own cloud infrastructure which people lease to make their own businesses, as well as ads, so many things.

Twitter is more popular than facebook, especially for my age group, trending topics and breaking news. Facebook probably has more dead accounts since it was there first, but I'm pretty sure twitter has more active members than facebook. I believe instagram and twitter are equally as popular.

The only people I know who use facebook are old (over 30) and/or ghetto. Other people have accounts, but never or rarely use them. Before the live videos of people getting killed (which goes back to me saying mostly hood/ghetto people still frequently use fb) you'd rarely hear people and media articles talking about what happened on facebook lastnight, it's usually twitter and instagram.

Facebook is struggling in popularity and has been for years which is why they are trying to force people to join and are buying up and copying other sites.Idk if you looked at the stats or are just saying that, but most celebs are on instagram and twitter. People go where the celebs go.

Imagine people actually dumb enough to 'rebel' against one corporate company to defend another one.

These people are attention seekers, so they'll be on both happily in a few weeks.
