The thing I don't get, is if they automated and are fine tuned to such a degree of accuracy, why tf they got wheels?

The thing about these is they will probably be used to fill in the gaps where there's not enough drivers at a location. Plenty of places are in need of drivers, and more and more drivers are getting close to retirement. There's still going to be the same amount of manpower. Somebody has to watch the thing. Somebody has to repair it. Somebody has to fuel it.
