I didn’t even give that shyt not one play and that’s the way I’m going to keep it for his remaining career.

I'm not denying or agreeing with thread starter but the climate we live in is much different than the 90s

everything comes and goes, even if its the biggest thing ever

thats just the nature of existence these days

I only listened to it once and haven't listen to it since, but then again I can say the same for Jay Z's last album, Pusha Ts album and a few others (and I liked those albums, yet I simply felt like I got what i wanted out of them after one listen)

Albums are like movies to me now, one listen is enough to keep me content, I'm not bumping music 24/7 like that anymore unless it's some old rnb/hiphop from the 90s

Yep.

No videos, hit singles, nobody on social media talking about it, negative reviews everywhere.. it was a collosal Flop... Kanye is basically Wale, Jeezy, Rick Ross status at this point..

Meanwhile Pusha T still dominating the headlines 2-3 weeks later

No wonder. After the comment he said about slavery, it’s a wonder he still has any fans left. He shot himself in the foot and damn near killed his career with that statement. Let’s be honest TLOP was a FLOP. The production is not where should have been at. YE was gay.

Let’s face it. Everything after Yeezus was :trash:.:camby:

I mean apparenty dude scrapped his initial album and started over and basically gave an EP in a month. He treated it like a come and go album so it ain’t a surprise it’s his most forgettable.
Daps but on the flip side a lot of dope music happens really fast. A lot of producers like just Blaze, 9th wonder, and alchemist will even scrap a beat if it starts taking longer than 30 mins or so.

I can think of a lot of really dope projects that were recorded in a week or even a weekend.

But I see what you mean.

It will probably end up being the the worst of all the Good music releases.. Especially after hearing that he scratched the whole album after the TMZ fiasco and started new.

But yeah, there isn't anything on that album that makes me want to listen to it again
