The NBA retired Iverson a long time ago, it seems he's finally come to realization that it is indeed, over.

I was there when he was playing for Bethel High School with Tony Rutland, and to this day...even as a high school athlete...it was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. He was my childhood hero and will always be my favorite athlete of all time despite his personal problems and disputes. We even had the high school games where he played against Aaron Brooks (former Saints QB) on tape. I was a stan of course, but I'm proud of that and I'm proud of what he was able to accomplish even though he was never able to win a ring. As I grew older I saw that he wasn't a role model as a father nor husband but as a competitor, when the lights were on and the pressure was cooking, he stood defiantly in that bytch with unwavering courage and confidence. :wow:

Bubbachuck, I :salute: you

nikkas on the coli hate AI so much :snoop:, at the point when nikkas was saying he needs to come off the bench that was insulting.. he didnt need to, he started in the all star game that same year and youre telling him he needs to come off of the bench on an 8th seeded pistons.. then the grizzlies tried to make him come off the bench and it wasnt even some 6th man type shyt, he barely got minutes at all and he was still good enough to start over mike conley at that point.. the next year he was willing to accept a bench role but he was blackballed out of the league at that point

But :salute: to AI, nikkas like him and McGrady defined my childhood, its a shame it ended the way it did but ill always remember them for the good times:to:

You can hate on A.I. all you want. Yea he had a bad attitude but in his prime he was better than KOBE BRYANT. So he was basically the best the NBA has seen besides MJ and LEBRON.... And TMAC (cause we all know McGrady was also better than Kobe a few years). That's why Iverson is still most incoming NBA guards favorite player

Am I right?
