She's about damned senile. She was terrible in that first meeting with her and Trump, Schumer had to hold her hand the whole time.

Every interview I've seen of her in teh past week she sounds like a bumbling senior trying to form sentences. This HAS to be her last term as leader.

What were you watching? She baited Trump and made him look stupid.
Schumer has been getting killed by Trump in previous meetings and with Pelosi by his side he suddenly grew a pair and yet that is on Pelosi?
The Dems get power and everyone steps into the twilight zone and create the same environment of purity trolling that causes them to eventually lose elections. Then you complain again. Rinse and repeat.
Let her do her job. Judge her on her results, she had nearly unanimous approval from her peers, including most progressives. Maybe they know something you don't.

Pelosi used her deep pockets to secure her spot, how "republican" of her
New Dems fell back from their non-support stance due to deals made with a deep pocketed colleague, how "republican" of them

DEFEND THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT
Healthcare was one of the leading issues that carried Democrats to victory in the midterms. So naturally, House Democrats filed a motion Thursday in their rules package for the 116th Congress that would authorize their lawyers to defend the Obama-era Affordable Care Act, which Republicans have repeatedly tried to repeal, most recently through a lawsuit in Texas.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the House will vote next week to formally offer up the chamber’s lawyers to defend the healthcare law, which will most likely appear before the Supreme Court.

“Republicans should end their assault on healthcare and join us to do the right thing for the American people,” Pelosi said in a news release announcing the House would move to defend the Affordable Care Act.

In December 2017, the Republican-controlled Congress effectively removed Obamacare’s “individual mandate” — or the tax against people who didn’t carry government-approved insurance plans. Afterward, Republican attorneys general stepped up to sue the federal government and argue that Obamacare couldn’t exist without that mandate. Just last month, a federal judge agreed with them and ruled the entire government healthcare program unconstitutional, although Obamacare is still in effect as the lawsuit weaves through the courts.

She's the number 1 fundraiser for democrats, which, until the law is changed, incredibly important to helping ALL democrats win.
.
and why does she have to be the speaker of the house to raise money? she would raise the same fukkin amount if she was just a powerful, influential...normal member

im not mad that she's the speaker, im not gonna be a dikkhead and downplay her experience. but the sentiment that "it has to be her!!!!!" was disgusting and false

She's good at her job.

Being speaker is thankless and historically never gets respect because of the compromises you have to make to not only get your side over the aisle, but to pull everyone together to even pass legislation.

I made sure to look for popular left leaning bent sources to remind you apologist of what your own echo chamber confirmed

Trump Concedes Defeat On Plan For Obamacare Repeal

House Republican leaders on Friday pulled their bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act, signaling defeat on what was supposed to be a major legislative accomplishment for President Donald Trump.
Less than 24 hours before, Trump had issued an ultimatum to the House, demanding a vote on what both he and Republican leaders had identified as a top legislative priority ― and threatening to move on to other legislative items if they refused.

There's no reason to trust Trump or the Republicans. They tried to replace ACA without a replacement. Their judges and advocates are still trying to strike it down in courts.
That's reality.
...and there's no reason to trust an apologist
ACA isn't going anywhere, regardless of who is in power. Removing mandatory fines for not participating in ACA, isn't repelling
The mere fact that the Dems marked "protecting ACA, using their lawyers" as a day 1 accomplishment is further proof that they are the same self serving politicians, manipulating their flock with symbolic gestures

Until the Dems refuse to offer any spending bills that doesn't include implementing a single payer system and/or cap healthcare cost, then they doing exactly what politicians do, let their PR teams form narratives that their party apologist can push....as that article proves

My main problem with Pelosi is that she's so unpopular (even though it's due to Republican slander) that it's a drag on the party.

She's good at raising money, but otherwise she's a political liability.

She is also good at whipping votes
