I don't think I've ever dapped you or agreed with any of your posts in all these years (nothing personal), but what you wrote here is exactly what happened.

Whether or not he may be homophobic in private is not what's in question here. He's being judged based on what he said, and if people thought that what he said is specifically homophobic, then they are reaching and just crafting their own narrative that they want to craft. They used to teach people how to analyze these sorts of things in English classes and Critical Thinking class (at an even higher level).
