Maybe it wasn’t a freak accident, maybe he had natural weakness in his hips

I don't think he really meant 350 to 400 come in ya'll i think being sarcastic about that of course.
Obviously he’s being a tad bit facetious but don’t he know that hed being playing against 6’6 lineman with 40 times in the 4 range in this era.
“When was the last time you watched a baseball game and saw a baseball game to where everybody is doing the basics? When was the last time you saw a hit-and-run? Everybody is swinging for the fence now. You either hit it out the park or strike out. Nobody practices base stealing, nobody practices hit-and-runs, hitting the cutoff man and so forth and so on and in football I’ll say the same thing. Nobody wraps up and tackles no more…If I played during this era I’d probably be averaging 350-400 yards a game.”

Every thingWhat's a lineman speed got to do with the lack of wrapping up and tackling?
All this old head young head shyt is irrelevant. I'm 26 and I can acknowledge what he was saying. You guys don't gotta take everything to heart![]()
Must be seeing what Henry is doing.

Delusional and hatingMust be seeing what Henry is doing.
His hip went out on a basic tackle. Y'all can talk about how he was a mega monster big bad bone crushing super athlete transformer man but he never carried the ball over 15 times per game in his brief career, and this was in the run-heavy 80s and he broke down. "bu...bu..bu freak injury" He broke down, period.
This dude has the nerve to talk about Homeruns and strike outs but has 841 strikeouts in 2600 plate appearances. He struck out 1/3 plate appearances. He was the quintessential strikeout or HR guy. And he was always overthrowing his cut-off man trying to show off his arm![]()
