I don't see a problem with it if you do it creatively with older music many people never heard of. But if you sample a record that was a hit in the 90's or 00's and just add some heavy drums on them, its lame.

doing an accurate needle drop like that is a cool skill to have. it's more of a show kind of skill tho, something that's visual more than just a great way to make a beat.I don't get it. Maybe I'm too young. He's just making the record skip![]()

and has a great ear for samples and drumsfukk outta here with that shyt, i've heard that bullshyt for so long, artists in ALL genres have been jacking songs, lyrics, beats, chord progressions, everything for years it's nothing new in Hip Hop.
Led Zepplin & Rolling Stones did pretty well for themselves ripping off Blues songs & artists.Word. They probably said that about the blues.....
