I don't see a problem with it if you do it creatively with older music many people never heard of. But if you sample a record that was a hit in the 90's or 00's and just add some heavy drums on them, its lame.

fukk outta here with that shyt, i've heard that bullshyt for so long, artists in ALL genres have been jacking songs, lyrics, beats, chord progressions, everything for years it's nothing new in Hip Hop.

If like sample based beats, and have attempted to make some yourself, you might appreciate the skill a little more...

doing an accurate needle drop like that is a cool skill to have. it's more of a show kind of skill tho, something that's visual more than just a great way to make a beat.

Its an essential skill to have as a dj too :gladbron:

shyt was ill. Besides the fade to black documentary it'll be dope to see the creative process of how albums are made. Like when they feel like they gotta hit. Or who out rhymed who in the booth.
