Russ is funny. If he shot less, play-make more, and stop cheating off his man on defense to get rebounds, he’d be so much more effective.
I don't understand why Westbrook can't improve his jumper from mid range and from three. I had the same gripe with DWade like how are you that talented and gifted but you can't work on your jump shooting. Russ also needs to improve his handles and passing accuracy.
Watching every Wizards game last season was maddening cause the two months he played like an MVP is how he should play all the time.Can he do that? He might have a mental condition or something, because he keeps doing the same dumb shyt. For like a decade now.
Then you have the issue with the postseason. He’s absolutely been terrible the last 4 years. That’s where his broken jump shot and the turnovers are killers.

I do expect 25-15-15 Russ. I also expect 0-7 and 3 turnovers in the 4th quarter.
Of course we don't expect you to get the numbers you used to get. But you should be held accountable on defense and you should be capable at this point with your speed and athleticism waning of hitting a 15-20 foot jumper on a consistent basis. Not even going to get into improving the 3 point accuracy.
